Using the method will sow the seeds of Learning and Literacy which is the recipe for success for the rest of life. Memory Mapping works by providing a structure to attach ideas to. The ideas are remembered through linking words and images to locations on a Memory Map. Linking words to images to locations is how the great memory champions remember. It is also how your children or you can remember. It is why Memory Mapping works so brilliantly. 
Here is an example of a Memory Map the subject of which is Memory Maps. You can see it is because the centre of the Map says "Memory Map". I would use this particular Map to speak about how to create a Memory Map. If I wanted to write about how to do a Memory Map I could do that as well. The Map could be about any subject you like so that once you had made the Map you could speak and write about that subject. It is a method that really does work and it is simple and easy. The results come quickly. With Memory Mapping your children will be able speak about a subject and they will therefore know the subject. They can then write about it.
Speaking is a major part of the whole process, speaking reinforces learning. As a parent you can listen to what your children are saying and know how well they know something. If the children need to know more you can help them with this so that they improve. At The Learning Well we therefore say;
"Speak to Learn. If you can say it you know it"
